How to store sun dried tomatoes in olive oil?

I bought these delicious sun dried tomatoes in a jar in olive oil and I opened it the other day for a salad. I stuck the jar in the fridge and the oil coagulated and is solid now. How is this supposed to be stored? Do I have to heat it up now to soften the oil again?How to store sun dried tomatoes in olive oil?
They ARE delicious, aren't they??? You method of storage is correct, you can keep them in a cupboard, but I've found that if not used in a timely fashion, the oil can become rancid.....and storing them in the refrigerator will extend their shelf life......Don't let the coagulated oil freak you out, that is what happens to most oils if refrigerated......take the jar out of your refrigerator and let them come naturally to room temp before using them........I have a killer recipe for a sun dried tomato tapanade, if you'd like the recipe, pls email me at my 360 profile page......Enjoy!!!

Here's an idea for sun dried tomatoes: drop about ten into your food processor, you may have to add a bit of fresh olive oil. Blend into a paste. Spread this on your warm Italian bread or spread on sandwich or even hamburger bread.
That is fine. Just make sure that the tomatoes are covered with oil. Take the jar out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature. They will last a really long time.
