Can you substitute butter for the olive oil in egg pasta?

I am going to make some egg pasta, and the recipe i has calls for olive oil. I was wodnering if I could use another oil, like butter.Can you substitute butter for the olive oil in egg pasta?

use other oils or just use salted water to avoid the fat
I wouldn't use butter---try another vegetable oil, like corn oil, canola oil, or plain old vegetable oil.
