What is a flavorful olive oil to use for cooking or salad dressings?

I have only ever used Ralphs' brand and I find it has a bitter after taste. I am looking for brand names, please.What is a flavorful olive oil to use for cooking or salad dressings?
Not sure where you live but if you have a Krogers near you, look for ';Carlini 100% EVOO'; its less expensive than those name brands and has a nice smooth taste. Thats what i use cause i'm on a budget. If you don't have a Krogers, look in your local grocery. I take a 1/4 th head off garlic and peel it and put it in the oil along with a chili pepper for flavor, you have to keep it in the fridge. but it lasts a long time.
