Can I use truffle oil instead of olive oil?

I am making a spaghetti sauce and I don't have any olive oil on hand but I do have some gourmet truffle oil. It calls for a 1/4c........ your thoughts? Can I use truffle oil instead of olive oil?
The oil in the spaghetti sauce is primarily there for texture - replacing it with white wine will not improve the texture like an oil will.

Secondary to the texture - the olive oil is there for flavor.

Instead of olive oil, I would first look to replace it with any vegetable oil which may be labeled corn oil, salad oil or canola oil.

The truffle oil is just flavored vegetable oil - often it is actually olive oil. So you can use it, it will work for the texture - but the flavor will be different but I don't think it will make the sauce that much different. You will taste it - you may like it. Think of it as sauce made with mushrooms. Can I use truffle oil instead of olive oil?
white wine will make it yummy lol truffle oil might be ok but i would stick with the wine and a touch of lemon or lime juice , . enjoy lol
That's an insane waste of money. Truffle oil is a seasoning, not a cooking medium.
that might be a bit.... strong.

I would use canola or veg oil first.
